About FireCrafted Canoes
Fire Crafted Canoes has come about through years of experience, good timing and the insistence of others. Recently I was splitting time between living history (museum) work and the Army National Guard when I found myself being asked "what would your dream job be if not this current work arrangement?"............ and my honest answer was building dugout canoes for tribes, museums and others helping to revive the tradition and skills for Native people in the East and museums/historians. Fast forward a year or two and I found myself doing just that.
